Busy busy...

I've been making little button brooches to sell in my new etsy shop Hope and Charlie.  Here's a sneak preview of what's to come...

There's more to come, just need a little (ok, a lot) of help with the techy side of things.

A Late Birthday Outing...

I Have been so looking forward to the trip I took into London this week. 

I started at the beautiful Grace Kelly: Style Icon exhibition at the V&A  museum, where Princess Grace's dresses are on show.  Sadly her wedding gown was not there, but a beautiful look into her wardrobe nonetheless.

 

Then after lunch it was off to one of my favourite places in London. Laduree for their delicious macaroons.

My final destination was Liberty's a place where I can spend many pleasurable hours.  I came home with a beautiful Liberty print blouse. 

 

A truly lovely day.

Gardens

I love gardens, and plants.  My garden is constantly a work in progress, never 'finished' and always changing. This is what I love most about gardens and plants finding new planting combinations and 'happy accidents' as Beth Chatto puts it.

A new venture...

After months of good intentions and deliberating, I have eventually started this blog.  What it is and will be, I am not sure yet.  But I am looking forward to finding out... what I do know is that I intend to write about what I love - beautiful things, beautiful textures, gardens, crafts and the home. So here goes!
